Pioneering Research Work :-1. Dr. Saxena devised an innovative technique of deflating stuck balloon catheters. The idea consists of endoscopically bursting the balloon. This technique was first described and accepted globally in 1989. It was published in the British Journal of Urology (Vol.65, No.1, January 1992). Since then, it has been quoted as reference and various variations of the same technique have been described in the medical literature. |
